Why Should You Apply With One of Our Recommended Lenders?
–
Here are some factors to compare when comparing quotes from a mortgage broker:
Is The Broker Ethical? – Does the broker seem to be considering your best interests? Watch for red flags of predatory lending practices, for example, a broker who tries to fit you into a home that you can’t afford or a broker who asks you to falsify information on your mortgage application.
Compare Loan Terms – The mortgage loan with the lowest interest rate is not necessarily the best deal. Consider factors like, payment terms, adjustable or fixed rate. Is there a pre-payment penalty on the loan? A prepayment penalty is one factor that many borrowers miss when evaluating a mortgage loan.

Recommended Refinance Mortgage Lenders and Brokers Online Thanks for maintaining a list of recommended mortgage companies online and update the list regularly.
I’m attempting to get a mortgage with BofA.The property is located in Burlington City, NJ. The listed price is 49k. During the mortgage process I was laid off from my job. However I do receive income in the form of a pension, which is well within my budget to repay the loan.
I now feel that I’m getting the run around from BofA. My credit score is listed in the 700 range.I’ve thirty days to get this done.Im trying to avoid a lot of inquiries on my credit report. Which as you know only make your score go down.My APR as quoted by Bof A is 4.85%.I’ve the necessary amount for closing.
I’ve paid for inspections, pest control fees, appraisal fee etc;
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. Even if its only to give me a list of lenders.
Thanks
First off where did you get your scores from? Online scores are mostly calulated using something called a vantage algorithm verses the fico (true scores) tha ta lender will use. These can be very different. Mine are over 100 points different with transunion where online from transunion (truecredit) say I have a 770 but my fico is a 650. Losing your job may have driven down your credit. I am not sure of really what your situation is but if they won’t lend go to a credit union they aare great!! or try another well known lender.
